Carolina Herrera America's Cup

The America's Cup is the most important sailing competition in existence. This 2024, the championship takes place in Barcelona and therefore, the city of Barcelona has become a place of pilgrimage for lovers of this sport, so closely linked to the world of luxury. In this context, Carolina Herrera decided to create an immersive experience, dedicated to all those who travel to Barcelona to witness this sporting event. And they decided that technology should play a very important role in their experience.

To do so, they relied on AirParfum, a device that allows the consumer to try as many perfumes as they want without saturating their nose, faithfully reproducing each scent. AirParfum has been created to prevent our olfactory system from fatigue when testing perfumes, offering a dry olfactory experience, with which it is not necessary to impregnate your skin and avoids the presence of alcohol, one of the elements that usually distorts our sense of smell. Through this technology, Carolina Herrera decided to develop a unique experience and for this, Dallonses united these two worlds into one.

Our goal was to integrate AirParfum's technology with Carolina Herrera's brand essence, creating an experience engaging enough that travelers wouldn't want to miss it.

We created a physical installation in Terminal 1 of the Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport and designed and developed an app with our own technology, capable of connecting to the AirParfum machines. We designed the application internally, adapting it to Carolina Herrera's style guides. The app proposes a game to users, featuring the Good Girl fragrance, one of the brand's most iconic fragrances, in three of its main variants: Good Girl, Good Girl Blush and Very Good Girl. The experience allows you to try these three fragrances through AirParfum and then proposes a game: AirParfum launches one of these three scents at random and the participant has to guess which of the three it is. If he guesses, he receives a gift.

This is a tailor-made application, integrated with AirParfum and combining the tactile with the olfactory. The experience was very well received and made Carolina Herrera the olfactory ambassador of the 37th America's Cup.
